3 Ingredient Cookies

I love baking. It's a great stress reliever and makes me feel so productive. Of course, the result is always - well, usually - delicious too!

Growing up, it was something I loved doing with my mom, and I looked forward to one day baking with my own children.

However, my kids are currently 2 and 6 months old, so right now I'm into simple baking. The store-bought dough is quick and easy, but it's just not the same when you don't get to mix it yourself.

One of the other moms in my postpartum weight loss group shared this recipe a while ago and it's the best!

These cookies are quick and easy, plus they're pretty healthy, especially if you leave out or substitute the chocolate chips.

All you need is 2 ripe bananas and 2 cups of oats, plus I added chocolate chips. I used quick oats because that's what I had.

First, mash the bananas.

Next, blend the oats to make them smooth.

They should look something like this when you're done.

Mix the bananas and oats, and then add chocolate chips - or have a helper add them! Instead of chocolate chips, you can add anything else you want. Butterscotch chips, raisins, nuts, cinnamon... I've even added a little chocolate Shakeology!

Put them on the baking sheet and bake for 9-12 minutes at 350. This will make approximately a dozen cookies.

They're not your traditional chocolate chip cookies, but they are delicious!

Enjoy!
